It is important to note the difference between the program that exists on the "RFID Reader" and RFIDSimpleware. The Reader is configured separately to run autonomously from RFIDSimpleware. The Reader can be collecting tag information while RFIDSimpleware in not running. RFIDSimpleware will allow for the polling (collection of new RFID tag information) of many readers at preset time intervals. It is important to note if the reader is not configured to collect tag information then when RFIDSimpleware polls that reader there will be no tag information to be returned.
